Fireplaces! They are fantastic in more ways than I can describe, especially when you live in Minnesota….Now this Blog is in part a way for me to  have a portfolio available online. I want to be able to look back on the projects I’ve done, and (hopefully) smile knowing that I do actually get things completed…well, like 93% completed….but hey, it counts to me 🙂 I also want it to be a place of inspiration for future clients, and non-clients alike.

 

This first before and after is in a home that we sold 2 years ago, but I LOVE this fireplace, and wanted to share the before and after because it just turned out so…..well, you’ll see.

 

There was NOTHING wrong with the fireplace that was there, but in my mind I could see what it COULD be, and so, I grabbed a hammer, some goggles, and smashed away! It was way more fun than it should be.

Ahhh, And there it is….a totally new, and different kind of fireplace wall.

The SECOND fireplace on this post is the fireplace that took WAY too long to complete, and is STILL waiting for some finishing quarter-round, but I feel the need to share my 93% complete fireplace, because, well, I can!
