Creating an upscale BAKESALE

I was asked to take over the bake sale at a benefit my sisters & I hosted recently….and I knew I wanted to make it SUPER colorful, happy, and UPSCALE, but I had NOTHING colorful, or bakesale-y ……. so I headed to the THRIFT store!

I  bought  99 cent goblets, plates & vases. I also found some trays and platters…brought them home, and SPRAYPAINTED (almost) EVERYTHING!!

I glued the vases, and plates together (in random order) to create some very inexpensive cake stands!

I looked throught the house for things that could be re-purposed, and found some fabric in a bin I had been holding onto for YEARS….a cute birdcage we could use as a donations bin, and painted up some signs, crates, and a small shelf…

There is something very rewarding about handing out sugary delicious treats!

  1. By far, the most beautiful Bake sale EVER!! It was so art deco…lively and colorful! It was like being at a little boutique with a bakery! So talented!
